Computer Assembly Part 3

This third class we have the students assemble computers on their own. Each student had one computer and had to share a screw drivers and assemble a computer with little or no instruction. All students in attendance completed the assembly successfully.
There were questions of course. That is part of it. We also had students help each other out and demonstrate teamwork which was good to see as well. We also had limited space to work, we need both rooms.
At the end, we prepared the computers as if for a client making sure we had them all counted and staged for the next part.
Downside we had to motherboards with bent pins. This means the two motherboards are dead and can’t be fixed.
I issued a challenge to students for extra credit for those who had the best wire management. Here are pictures of the top contenders.
