AI will Marry Robots

NASA’s Intelligent Systems Division is working on AI and robotics. In the Autonomous Systems and Robotics technical area, they are working to enable complex systems through the development of technologies that can adapt in response to changing conditions, knowledge, and constraints. Along with Google, they also have been researching using quantum computing for Artificial Intelligence.

The dawn of a new age is upon us. The next big boost in innovation and efficiency of systems will be when we can marry robotics with artificial intelligence. Currently robots are slow and have difficulty with tasks most humans have no problem with. The hope is with artificial intelligence will help robots with the mobility challenges. Vast improvements will follow shortly. It is not a matter of if but when. So how long will it take? Let us know what you think below in the comments.
