New form factor for the Desktop?
Intel launches a new set of super small PCs. The Intel NUC packs the power of a desktop into the size of desktop calendar. I am piloting a program at my office to see how well these will work as a workstation replacement. We purchased the Intel® NUC6i7KYK 2.6GHz i7 to test out. We purchased ram and a hard-drive as well. You need to remember the price does not include those additional components and they can be more expensive than expected. Once we have tested it out in a live environment I will post a follow-up blog. The plate on the right in the photo is used to attached the computer case to the back of a monitor. A great idea for cable management.
