Decorating my office
Being new to Las Positas my office started out a little barren. So I decided that I would bring in some of my Sci-Fi memorabilia or collectables to display in my office. It certainly makes the office seem homelier but hopefully a little more inviting as well. I must say that how you decorate your office, cubical, desk, or work area says something about you as a person. Be aware of then when you are on the job. You would not want to have decorations that are offensive to other people. Of course you can’t help if someone is offended if you do not intend to offend. Then there is reasonableness for what is offensive and what is not. This is a gray area for sure. I guess someone could be offended by my Sci-Fi collectables, however, my intent is not to offend and that certainly seems reasonable.
