Professionalism
Computer science classes (CNT and CIS) in the past have been viewed more as vocational classes and as such may not be viewed as professional courses. However, these are courses that will either lead to a professional career in information systems or enhance a career in any other field. In a career in technology professionalism will be expected and will help you in your career. Now is the perfect time to start learning a developing a professional attitude. To start, most classes will have students with little to no hands on experience and students who may have extensive experience. This broad base of students is much like the range of experience you might find on the job. I treat all of my students as professionals and I encourage my students to treat others as professionals as well.
