"The costs of opting out of negotiating can be very high, from lower salaries to poor work-life balance to exclusion from career advancement. Yet, research indicates that in overwhelming numbers, women, in particular, are choosing not to negotiate. This session addresses why negotiating is such a difficult, yet critical, job skill. The speaker addresses the variety of situations that are negotiable in a career beyond just salary and provides insight on navigating tough conversations. In addition, learn about how salary transparency affects the community as a whole with respect to the gender gap.
